Product Development Assistance

CFIF, the organizers of Cebu X has allocated a total of PHP 2 million to cover the product and booth design development of companies joining Cebu X Exhibitors under the
"Design & Product Development Program".

How to Join

  • Application for participation contract & forms as an exhibitor to the event must be made by submitting a duly accomplished application contract [F1] + [F2] + [F3]. This registration form is to be signed by the applicant and subject to acceptance in writing by the organizer. It must have been received in duplicate by The Organizer on or before the deadline set on the Application Form. The application applies to the dates specified on the Application Form.
  • Incomplete applications shall not be processed.
  • The Organizer shall not be held liable for the outcome or for any damages directly or indirectly ensuing from a misleading or imprecise or incomplete information either contained in the application form or based on other details furnished by the exhibitor.
  • All applications are subject to the acceptance requirements.
  • The accepted and approved application form is the contract of participation between the exhibitor and the Organizer and as such binding between both parties. By submitting the Application Form, the applicant undertakes to adhere to the Exhibition Rules and to any other regulations issued by the Organizer.

Acceptance Requirements

  1. The manufacturers accepted as exhibitors shall be those whose products to be displayed correspond to the product groups of the event and those deemed qualified by The Organizer using its discretion. Trade exhibitors may be admitted by The Organizer to exhibit at the event, provided that the products/services constitute an essential completion of the commodity scope.
  2. The applicant should give to The Organizer all information required for his company and products to be exhibited.
  3. Photo documentation of product presentations are required for ALL exhibitors. Product presentations will be screened by the Exhibitorís Campaign Committee.
  4. The applicant shall comply with all the necessary requirement/s provided in the provisional notice of acceptance (if applicable) from the Organizer. Non-compliance is be a ground for expulsion or non-acceptance.
  5. Pertinent documents accompanying the Application Forms are likewise required, such as:
    • Gold & Regular Exhibitors
      (Those that have participated at least in the immediate previous show)
      • Fully accomplished Application Form [FORM F1] with F2 and F3.
      • Downpayment of 25%, 30% or 50% of the total amount of the participation fee applied for, depending on the date submission of application form [F1]
      • Post Dated Checks (PDC's)
      • At least 3 product photos of recent design reflecting their declared category upon application.
      • Digital photo for the website
    • New & Periodic Exhibitors
      (Those who have never participated in the show, as well as those who intend to re-participate after one year of non-participation to the show)
      • New Exhibitors - CFIF Members or Members of Other CFIF Accredited Associations
        • Fully accomplished Application Form [FORM F1] with F2 and F3.
        • Downpayment of 25%, 30% or 50% of the total amount of the participation fee applied for, depending on the date of submission of application form [F1]
        • Post Dated Checks (PDC's)
        • Latest Financial Statement
        • Original copy of Bank Statement reflecting Export Sales
        • Letter of Endorsement from a Trade Association/ Organization
        • Company Brochure
        • At least 3 product photos of recent design reflecting their
        • declared category upon application. High resolution digital photo for the website
      • New Exhibitors - Non CFIF Members
        • Downpayment of 25%, 30% or 50% of the total amount of the participation fee applied for, depending on the date submission of application form [F1]
        • 3 Post Dated Checks (PDC's)
        • Certificate of Business Registration from SEC, DTI or BOI
        • A Copy of Articles of Incorporation
        • Copy of the latest Audited Financial Statement
        • Original copy of Bank Statement reflecting Export Sales
        • Letter of Endorsement from a Trade Association or from three (3) furniture manufacturing companies
        • Company Brochure
        • Sketch of Factory or Showroom Location
        • At least 3 product photos of recent design reflecting their declared category upon application.

      • New Exhibitors - without export expercience
        • Fully accomplished Application Form [FORM F1] with F2 and F3.
        • Downpayment, 25%, 30% or 50% of the total amount of the participation fee applied for, depending on the submission of application form [F1]
        • 3 Post Dated Checks (PDC's)
        • Certificate of Business Registration from SEC, DTI
        • A Copy of Articles of Incorporation (if a corporation)
        • Copy of the latest Audited Financial Statement
        • Letter of Endorsement from a Trade Association or from three (3) furniture manufacturing companies

        • At least 3 product photos of recent design reflecting their declared category upon application.

  6. The Organizer shall decide upon the acceptance of exhibitors using due discretion and is not in any way obligated to provide due reason for the non-acceptance of an application. Applicant holds the Organizer free and blameless in case of non-acceptance, the same being wholly discretionary upon the Organizer.
  7. The Organizer shall reduce the exhibition area of an exhibitor and/ or to alter the exhibitorís location when deemed necessary.

Screening Guideline for ALL Participants

  • Gold Exhibitors

    Are those who have uninterrupted participation in the show for at least three (3) consecutive years

  • Regular Exhibitor

    Are those who have participated in the immediate previous show.

    Pre-qualification for gold and regular exhibitor is only applicable if the exhibitor has violated any of the Cebu X policy as stipulated in the manual or has a record of complaint from another exhibitor, buyers, Cebu X staff from the previous show or from DTI records.

  • Periodic Exhibitor

    Are those who have participated in the show but interrupted in the immediate previous show.

  • New Exhibitor
    • Factory visit will be conducted, even for regional participants.
    • First time exhibitor has to participate in one (1) of the product development trainings or consultancies offered by CFIF.

      However, in lieu of the above mentioned, participation in similar trainings and consultancies conducted by other entities and/or designers may be accepted; provided, it meets the standards of the organizer. The exhibitor must present to the organizer a copy of the training program as well as a documentation of the exhibitorís attendance to these programs.
    • Attendance of first time exhibitors to the Booth Design Seminar to be conducted by CFIF is compulsory. However, in lieu of the above mentioned, It is also sufficient to work with an accredited interior designer for the booth presentation. The exhibitor has to submit a certification of compliance as proof to the Organizer.
