Cebu Furniture Fair Gets $27.4M in Sales

The four-day Cebu International Furniture & Furnishings Exhibition 2002 enjoyed a very successful run with booked sales shooting up 33 percent.

According to the Cebu Furniture Industries Foundation Inc. (CFIF), which conducted the fair last Feb. 26 to March 1 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel, the booked sales of $27.4 million was so far the largest growth in the last five years for the show.

Last year, the Cebu furniture trade show made $20.53 million. This figure includes both booked sales under negotiation, because the difference between the two was not too wide when Cebu Philippines was still holding its fair together with Manila furniture manufacturers.
