CFIF, Inc. is an association
whose mission is to contribute to the continued growth of the
Philippine furniture industry
especially here in
Cebu Philippines. It carries out
this mission as a body to rationalize the
Cebu furniture industry and
provide direction to its development efforts. It also serves as a
forum wherein industry related issues are discussed and resolved. It
speaks for and represents the furniture industry in Cebu.
Vision
Make Cebu the Furniture Center of Asia.
If Milan is to Europe in terms of design, then
Cebu Philippines is to Asia.
Cebu is acknowledged furniture capital of the Philippines,
consistently capturing 71% of the furniture export sales of the
country. The
Cebu Furniture Industries
Foundation therefore dreams with confidence the Cebu can also become
the furniture design capital of Asia.
As we enter the 3rd millennium, we foresee Cebu gaining more
strength in the sharing of more competitive designs, production
technology, management, and markets. The cooperation will multiply
and the international market will come to Cebu, where innovation,
variety, and reliability will be collective goals.
The Foundation will lead in making the dream happen, with the help
of the members and other sectors.
